Water Tank Cleaning & Disinfection for Cardiff properties
Cold water storage tanks collect sediment, scale, debris and sometimes insects or vermin. That material feeds biofilm and gives legionella somewhere to grow. If an inspection finds contamination, the tank should be cleaned and disinfected. We carry out the work with minimal disruption and issue a certificate when it is done.
Cold water storage tanks in Cardiff are often found in roof spaces and plant rooms of holiday lets. Local water is moderately soft, which affects how quickly sediment and scale build up in tanks and how often cleaning is needed.
Cardiff's purpose-built student housing, city-centre offices and stadium-area hospitality venues all have periods of low use, from university holidays to event-day peaks, which affect how water systems need managing.

In Cardiff, legionella law is enforced by Cardiff Council's environmental health team for offices, shops, hotels, restaurants and leisure premises, and by HSE for factories, warehouses, hospitals, schools and council-run premises. We cover all CF postcodes in and around Cardiff.
