Water Temperature Log

A monthly record for sentinel outlet and calorifier temperatures, with the HSG274 targets printed on the sheet.

How to use this sheet

  1. List your sentinel outlets and hot water plant
  2. Hot outlets: record the temperature after one minute (target 50°C or more, 55°C in healthcare)
  3. Cold outlets: record the temperature after two minutes (target below 20°C)
  4. Calorifiers: flow 60°C or more, return 50°C or more
  5. Mark any reading outside the target and write down the action taken
